Vistara, IndiGo Announced Flights To Singapore Under Vaccinated Travel Lane: Details Here

As you may already know that the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has announced the resumption of flights from India to Singapore under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) starting from 29 November 2021.

The announcement comes after the CAAS has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) of India on the resumption of scheduled commercial passenger flights between Singapore and India.

Now, Indian carriers IndiGo and Vistara have also announced their flights to Singapore from Indian cities like Chennai and Mumbai.

Vistara Flight To Singapore

Full-service carrier Vistara announced that it will start operating flights from Mumbai to Singapore starting from 29th Nov 2021. The round-trip all-inclusive fares for Mumbai-Singapore-Mumbai start at INR 28,349 and round-trip all-inclusive fares for Singapore-Mumbai-Singapore start at SGD 699.

“We are excited to spread the new feeling to Singapore, one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, with flights from Mumbai!,” said Vistara on its website.

Vistara has a plan to operate 5 weekly flights between Mumbai and Singapore every Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat & Sun till 26th Mar 2022.

Bookings for these flights are now open on all channels including Vistara’s official website, iOS and Android mobile apps, through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and travel agents.

IndiGo Flights To Singapore

Low-cost carrier IndiGo on Wednesday also announced the resumption of flights from Chennai to Singapore under Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) from November 29, 2021.

IndiGo has scheduled 6E 51 which will depart from Chennai at 10:30 PM and arrive in Singapore at 5:15 AM the next morning. The same flight will be returned from Singapore at 06:15 AM and will arrive at Chennai, India at 08:00.

IndiGo will deploy its 232 seater A321neo on the Chennai-Singapore route.

Notably, the carrier has been allocated a total of 3,618 seats per week, of which 1,624 seats will be operated on the Chennai-Singapore sector under Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL).

The rest of the capacity will be utilized by IndiGo under non-VTL conditions for travel between India and Singapore.

Apply For Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP)

To travel on a VTL flight passengers need to apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) through the govt’s VTP Application Portal and follow the simple steps mentioned below;

Step 1: Go to the official website of the Singapore Government Agency from the above link. Click on ‘Create New VTP Application’.

Step 2: Enter your name and active e-mail address. An OTP will be generated.

Step 3: Enter the OTP and captcha displayed on your screen. Now, add your travel details-country of departure. For India, the details are available from Monday after 6 PM and the intended date of travel.

Step 4: You will be asked to enter all your personal information, such as your passport number. Click on ‘Submit’.
