Vietnam Airlines, the state-owned flag carrier of Vietnam has launched non-stop flights between Hanoi, Vietnam and New Delhi, India effective June 15, 2022; and the inaugural flight from Hanoi to New Delhi landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).
According to the details available, Vietnam Airlines will operate a total of 5 weekly non-stop flights on the Delhi-Vietnam-Delhi route.
Direct flights between Hanoi and New Delhi will be operated on every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; while flights between Ho Chi Minh City and New Delhi take off every Thursday and Saturday.

These flights are operated by a wide-body and modern Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 aircraft.
To mark this memorable occasion, the airline is also offering a special deal on opening flights and offering all-inclusive return fares starting at just 3,910,000 VND (Around ₹13,155).
It may be noted that in April 2022, Vietjet, an international low-cost airline from Vietnam has also started four new flights connecting India and Vietnam;
- Mumbai – Hanoi
- Mumbai – Ho Chi Minh City
- New Delhi – Phu Quoc and
- Mumbai – Phu Quoc… are among them.
Vietjet already operating flights between the Delhi-Hanoi and Delhi-Ho Chi Minh City routes.
From September 9, onwards, the Mumbai – Phu Quoc route will operate four round trips per week while the New Delhi – Phu Quoc will operate with a frequency of three round trips per week.
