Prior to the pandemic in 2019, the number of visitors between the two countries reached 319,000, showcasing a remarkable 35% increase compared to the previous year. India stands as one of Vietnam’s top trade partners, while Vietnam ranks as India’s 15th largest trading partner and fourth among Southeast Asian countries.
The launch of the Hanoi-Mumbai route is expected to significantly contribute to enhancing these economic ties.
