VFS Global Starts Accepting UK Visa Applications at Radisson and Taj Hotels

In a move aimed at enhancing convenience and accessibility for UK visa applicants in India, VFS Global, a leading visa and passport outsourcing company, has joined forces with Tata-owned Indian Hotels Company and the Radisson Hotel Group.

As part of this strategic partnership, UK visa applicants residing in Bengaluru, Mangalore, and Visakhapatnam now have the opportunity to apply for their UK visas at select Taj Hotels.

The initiative has already been launched at three prime locations: Vivanta Bengaluru in Whitefield, Vivanta Mangalore on Old Port Road, and The Gateway Hotel in Visakhapatnam.

Seamless Process for UK Visa Applicants

In an official tweet, VFS Global announced the latest development, stating, “Here’s an update for UK visa applicants in Bengaluru, Mangalore, and Visakhapatnam in India! Now, you can head to the nearest Taj Hotel to apply for a UK visa through our Premium Application Centres for a seamless and hassle-free experience.”

Expanded Network of Premium Application Centres

In addition to the Taj Hotels collaboration, UK visa customers can schedule appointments at various Premium Application Centres located across India. These include;

• Radisson Blu Hotel Amritsar
• Radisson RED Chandigarh Mohali
• Park Plaza Ludhiana, and
• Radisson Noida.

These centres offer the convenience of submitting visa applications and enrolling biometric data throughout the summer months.

Expressing enthusiasm about the partnership, Christina Scott, the Acting British High Commissioner to India, emphasized the significant contribution of Indian visitors, professionals, and students to the UK.

Scott remarked, “Indian travellers receive the largest share of UK visas issued globally and are integral to the unique living bridge that connects our countries. That is why we have our largest network of visa application centres right here in India, and it is great to see that number increase further thanks to this new partnership between VFS Global and Radisson hotels.”

Booking Appointments and Application Process

Appointments at the Premium Application Centres are mandatory for all applicants. To secure a slot, individuals can book their appointments through the provided link.

After submitting an online visa application, applicants have a window of up to 240 days to attend their biometric appointment and complete the application process.

Flexibility in Appointment Management

Flexibility is offered to applicants with the option to change their biometric booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. In cases where rescheduling is necessary, appointments can be rearranged multiple times to accommodate individual needs.

Continuation of Visa Application

In situations where an applicant is unable to attend a biometric appointment within the stipulated 240 days but still wishes to proceed with the visa application, a direct connection with UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration) is required.

This collaborative effort between VFS Global, Tata’s Indian Hotels, and the Radisson Group is set to streamline and simplify the UK visa application process, providing increased accessibility and convenience for Indian travellers heading to the United Kingdom.
