VBM: Air India Announced New Flight Between Hong Kong And Delhi

Flag-carrier Air India on Thursday announced that it will operate a special flight between Hong Kong and Delhi on 09 April 2021 under the Vande Bharat Mission.

The airline has also opened the booking for Hong Kong-Delhi flights through Air India Website, Booking Offices, Call Centre, and Authorised Travel Agents.

Indian nationals in Hong Kong; OCI and PIO cardholders; and, foreign nationals with valid Indian visas (except those on Tourist Visa) may avail of this flight.

Important Instructions For Passengers:

  • All passengers should carry a negative test report of an RT-PCR test conducted within 72 hours of the flight.
  • Passengers must also fill in the Self Declaration form in the online Air Suvidha Portal and upload their negative RT-PCR test report in the Air Suvidha portal prior to the scheduled departure.
  • The printout of the Self Declaration/RT-PCR upload on the Air Suvidha portal must be carried by the passengers while checking in for the flight.
  • Passengers are also required to download and install the Aarogya Setu app on their mobile phones.

It is important to note that failure to comply with any of the above may lead to denial in boarding.

Moreover, registration of passengers with the Consulate for travel to India is not required and the booking may be done directly with Air India.
