As per the rule, which will be applicable from January 26, 2021, all travellers arriving in the USA in international flights must test themselves to PCR test and show a negative report of Covid-19.

As the rule states, all passengers are advised to test themselves maximum 72 hours before leaving for the USA.

The release also says that all the passengers will also have to follow the quarantine guidelines.

The USA had earlier announced the same rule for the passengers arriving from the UK. “Passengers will be required to have a negative PCR or antigen test within 72 hours of boarding their flight from the UK to the US. Passengers are also required to provide documentation of their laboratory results, either as a hard copy or electronic”, the rule has said.

If a passenger chooses not to take a test, the airline must deny boarding to the passenger,” the CDC had further said in its statement.

But now it is announced for global passengers arriving in the USA via all international flights.
