Starting from Tuesday, November 01, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security of UAE announced its readiness to accept applications for multiple entry tourist visas from ‘Hayya’ cardholders attending the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
As part of the nation’s support for Qatar in hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be held from November 20 to December 18, the authority welcomed football fans who possess Hayya cards issued by the world cup organisers to visit and stay in the UAE.
The UAE will host world cup fans through Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa options, allowing them to enter the country multiple times over a 90-day period.
Multiple Entry Tourist Visas for Hayya Cardholders
A Hayya Card, a unique identification card, is needed to enter any World Cup event between November 20 and December 18. It should be noted that entry into any World Cup stadium is restricted to visitors, Qataris, and residents who have “Hayya Cards.”
The UAE’s Federal Authority says that as part of the programme, the UAE will be granted a multiple-entry visa valid for up to (90) days after the date of issuance.
The “Hayya” card holders can enter the UAE by requesting this visa starting on November 1, 2022, and it will permit them to enter the country multiple times throughout the validity period.

The multiple-entry visa for the United Arab Emirates is valid for up to (90) days after the date of issuance; however, the visa may be extended for an additional 90 days in accordance with the requirements, procedure, and fees outlined in the UAE’s current visa policy.

The cost of this multiple-entry tourist visa has also been reduced by the UAE to AED 100, which must be paid just once for the entire duration.
How to apply?
“Hayya” card holders can apply for the Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa via the website (www.icp.gov.ae), by selecting “Smart Channels,” then “Public Services,” then “Hayya Card Holders” Visa, and finally completing data and documents and paying the applicable fees.

- Access the ICP web portal (www.icp.gov.ae)
- Choose the “Smart Channels” link
- Choose “Public Services” from the main menu
- Select “Hayya Card Holders Visa” from Public Services to get the form
- Fill application form
Citizens of visa-free countries are exempt from the above procedures because they can enter and stay in the UAE under current procedures.
