The Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs, and Port Security in the UAE has announced the launch of a new service to assist individuals in obtaining a Golden Residency Visa.
The “One Touch Golden Visa service” is intended to streamline the application process for a Golden Visa, which allows foreign talents to live, work, or study in the UAE while also providing exclusive benefits.
UAE’s Golden Visa
The UAE’s Golden Visa is a long-term residency visa for foreign talents, which offers exclusive benefits and is granted for five or ten years. It is available for individuals in various fields and is managed by the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Port Security.

Simplified Residency Applications
The service will help applicants with visa applications, other visa issuance, regularisation of status, and the issuance of residency and identity documents.
All of these documents can be renewed in a single step, making the overall process of obtaining a Golden Visa simpler and more streamlined.
Easy Application Process
If a resident meets the Golden Visa requirements, they can complete their application on the ICP website with a single click.
The announcement was made on the ICP’s official Instagram channel, and the authority encourages qualified individuals to apply online or through the smart application UAEICP.
Golden Visa Benefits
The Golden Visa provides exclusive benefits to foreign talents in the UAE, such as the ability to stay outside the UAE for more than six months to keep their residence visa valid, and the ability to sponsor their family members, including spouses and children, regardless of age.

Lowered Monthly Salary Requirement
The minimum monthly salary for obtaining a Golden Visa has recently been reduced from Dh50,000 to Dh30,000.
This means that more qualified professionals in fields such as medicine, science and engineering, information technology, business and administration, education, law, culture, and social sciences can now apply for long-term residency in the UAE.
Overall, the “One Touch Golden Visa service” is expected to make it easier for foreign talents to obtain residency in the UAE, thus contributing to the country’s ongoing efforts to attract and retain skilled professionals from around the world.
