UAE Extends Flight Suspension From India Till May 14

The United Arab Emirate (UAE) government on Thursday extends the suspension of flights from India till 14th May 2021. Now, all the passengers who have transited through India in the last 14 days are also not permitted to board from any other point to the UAE.

Earlier the country has suspended all flights from India for 10 days starting from 11.59 pm on Saturday, April 24.

However, UAE citizens, diplomatic delegations, official delegations, and flights of businessmen are the categories that are exempted from this restriction.

Emirates, the flag carrier of UAE has also announced the suspension of all flights from India To Dubai.

The airline in a notification said that it has canceled all flights from India to Dubai till 14th May 2021. For rebooking options, please contact Emirates call center or use Emirates Covid waiver policy by using waiver code ‘ROGW006 DUE COVID-19’.

It is important to note that, Entry of Indians from any other country to the UAE will not be allowed unless they have stayed in that country for over 14 days.

Recently, the Dubai Health Authorities also announced that starting from 22nd April 2021, all passengers traveling from India to Dubai will be required to take a Covid-19 (RT-PCR) test within 48 hours before departure.
