The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is now allowing silver residence permit holders from India and its neighboring countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka to enter the nation.

It is worth mentioning that earlier the gulf nation has only allowing gold permit holders to enter the UAE from the above-mentioned countries.

However, according to the General Civil Aviation Authority (GACA) of UAE, all travelers who are eligible to travel from these nations must put on “a monitoring and tracking device”.

“There are no further restrictions. On the contrary, UAE is now permitting silver visa holders too, apart from golden visa holders. UAE makes you wear a bracelet for the 10-day quarantine. Passengers need to undergo an RT-PCR on the fourth day and then the eighth day. If the results are negative, then they can take off the bracelet and are free to go anywhere,” said the officials.

“UAE Nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas, and members of diplomatic missions who comply with the revised published COVID-19 protocols will be exempt for travel,” Emirates said on its website.

UAE has in the previous few days forcing stricter guidelines to stop the quick-spreading virus mutant from taking part in havoc in India in the meantime from reaching its shores by always tightening laws. It has barred enterprise jet operators from promoting particular person seats on charters headed to the nation from Covid hotspots.

GCAA has dominated that solely a most of eight passengers can now fly into the UAE on enterprise jets until additional orders. Both the constitution restrictions are primarily geared toward India because of the large demand from the nation by eligible class of travelers.
