Turkey Visa Application Centres Become Operational In India And Nepal

Gateway Management, a Turkish company authorized by Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to accept and process Turkey Visa Applications in India and Nepal has announced its Visa Application Centres in 14 cities in have now become operational.

VFS Global, the strategic partner of Gateway Management, in an update posted on its official Twitter account, “We have an important update for Turkey visa applicants in India and Nepal regarding resumption of our Visa Application Centres.”

The update reads; ‘Important update for Turkey visa applicants in India and Nepal From 20 June 2022, our Turkey Visa Application Centres have become operational in 14 cities listed below:

  4. Chennai
  5. Cochin
  6. Hyderabad
  7. Jaipur
  8. Jalandhar
  9. Katmandu

  14. Pune

It also added that for upcoming travel plans, travellers are advised to book an appointment on [email protected] well ahead of the scheduled date of travel to avoid any delays.

Undertaking Letter For Turkey Visa

Earlier this month the Gateway Management also issued an update regarding the undertaking letter and said that each applicant 18 and above must fill and sign the undertaking letter. Also, all applicants are required to bring the original signed undertaking letter with their visa application documents.

No Biometrics For Visa Applicants to Turkey

Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published updated biometrics guidelines, stating that effective May 27, applicants would not be required to submit biometrics (fingerprints and a live photo) at Gateway visa centres in India and Nepal.

As a result, applicants no longer need to visit Turkey visa centres to complete their visa applications. A person/agent approved by the applicant may apply for a Turkey visa on his or her behalf.
