Turkey, officially the Republic of Türkiye has removed all entry requirements for visitors and expects to receive the highest number of Indian tourists ever this year, said the Turkiye Tourism Board on Monday.

It is worth noting that earlier, Indian travellers who wish to enter Turkey were required to provide either a vaccination certificate or a negative RT-PCR test report.

Now, Indian travellers will no longer have to produce certification of coronavirus vaccination, recovery from the Covid-19, or a negative RT-PCR test result.

With both Indigo and Turkish Airlines resuming direct international flights to Turkiye, the country is expecting to welcome the highest-ever number of Indian tourists this year, said a statement issued by Turkiye Tourism Board.
