Travelling From Thailand? Check-in Rows At Suvarnabhumi Airport May Change

Thai Airways, Thailand’s flag carrier airline, announced on Wednesday that a temporary change of check-in rows at Suvarnabhumi Airport may occur between May 21 and June 2, 2022, due to the installation of a new system.

Thai Airways also advised its customers to reconfirm the check-in row of their flight via the display system after they arrived at the Suvarnabhumi Airport on the day of departure.

The airline in a social media post said;

“Please be informed a temporary change of check-in rows at Suvarnabhumi Airport may occur during 21 May-2 Jun 2022 due to the installation of new system. Kindly reconfirm check-in row of your flight from the display system on the day of your departure once arrived the airport”

It is worth noting that in 2021, the Airports of Thailand (AoT) has also introduced self-check-in and luggage-loading services at Suvarnabhumi airport, reducing contact between passengers and staff to help mitigate the risk of COVID-19 spread.

AoT has installed 180 machines at the country’s main gateway airport to make check-in and other activities self-service. The machines have becomes fully integrated in July 2021.
