Travel Advisory For Indian Nationals Intending To Travel Saudi Arabia

The Indian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Thursday issues an advisory for Indian nationals who are planning to travel to Saudi Arabia via other countries.

The advisory comes after the Kingdom has suspended travel to/from 20 countries including India. Below is the list of all the 20 countries from where entry would be barred into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The embassy in a tweet said, “Kingdom of Saudi Arabia vide its circular dated 2nd February 2021 has temporarily suspended entry into the Kingdom for passengers coming from the following 19 countries, in addition to India.”

“Those Indian citizens desirous of coming to Saudi Arabia are advised not to transit through any of the above countries. All Indian nationals are also advised to kindly ascertain COVID-related travel current guidelines at the time of travel, both in the country of transit as well as in Saudi Arabia.” the embassy added further

It must be noted here that hundreds of Indians nationals are stranded in Dubai after Saudi Arabia’s announced the ban on entry of people from 20 foreign countries including India to contain the surge in Covid-19 cases.

The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi on Monday has also issued an advisory and asked Indian nationals not to travel to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait via the UAE and get stranded in this country.
