Finally, some good news for Thailand travellers: Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Friday said that the Test & Go program will be phased out beginning May 1.
The Thailand Pass, on the other hand, is still required. It is still necessary for vaccinated individuals to verify their vaccination status and insurance coverage by registering on Thailand Pass.
Test & Go Scrapped
The Thai Authorities in the CCSA (Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration) meeting on Friday, April 22 decided to scrap the Test & Go scheme and said that on-arrival RT-PCR testing will no longer be required for vaccinated tourists. It is only advised that they take a self-ATK test during their stay.
