Thai Announced Flights Between India And Thailand Under Air Travel Bubble Starting March 01: Check Schedule Here

Thai Airways, the flag carrier airline of Thailand has announced the commencement of flights between India and Thailand under the Air Travel Bubble effective 01st March 2022.

The announcement comes after India and Thailand entered into an air bubble pact to start flight operations between both countries. Both Indian and Thai carriers are now able to fly flights between India and Thailand and carry certain categories of passengers under the air bubble arrangements.

As per the details shared by the airline, it will be operating flights connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru with Bangkok, Thailand’s capital.

Passengers traveling on these flights must meet entry requirements into Thailand and will face prevailing health control measures in Thailand.

Important Note: Passengers traveling on flights from India to Thailand should be destined for Thailand only. Similarly, only passengers originating from Thailand should be allowed to travel on flights from Thailand to India.

Recently, Indian low-cost carriers like IndiGo and SpiceJet, have also revealed their flight schedule for Thailand under the air bubble arrangements which will begin on March 10, 2022. As per the details shared by both airlines, they will be operating direct flights connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru with Bangkok, and Phuket.

Thailand To Ease Travel Rules For International Tourists

The Govt of Thailand has decided to ease the travel rules for international tourists arriving into the country under its Test & Go program.

As per an announcement made by the Tourism Authorities of Thailand, starting 07th March 2022, all fully vaccinated travelers can arrive in Thailand with the required prepaid accommodation reduced to one night and the COVID-19 tests revised to one RT-PCR and one self-ATK.

However, all travelers to Thailand must have a Thailand Pass and negative RT-PCR certificate issued no more than 72 hours before entering Thailand. Minimum medical insurance coverage for visitors has been lowered to $20,000 from $50,000.
