Swachh Survekshan 2020: List of Top 20 Cleanest Cities In India

The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Thursday at the virtual event ‘Swachh Mahotsav’ announced the results of the annual survey of cleanliness, Swachh Survekshan 2020,.

Madhya Pradesh’s Indore was adjudged India’s cleanest city for the fourth year in a row. The second and third positions in the category were grabbed by Surat and Navi Mumbai respectively.

Swachh Survekshan 2020 commissioned by the Ministry of Urban Development is the world’s largest cleanliness survey. A total of 4242 cities were covered in a time-bound duration of 28 days. It is a completely digitised and paperless survey.
