Low-cost airline SpiceJet on Monday announced that it will operate eight new flights to Chittagong and Dhaka in Bangladesh. SpiceJet will operate these flights under India’s air bubble agreement with Bangladesh.
With the operation of these flights, Chittagong, Bangladesh will become SpiceJet’s 11th international destination.
SpiceJet will operate non-stop flights between Kolkata and Chittagong four-times-a-week. Besides the airline will operate flights on the Delhi-Dhaka-Delhi, Kolkata-Dhaka-Kolkata, and Chennai-Dhaka-Chennai sectors.
All the flights are scheduled to commence from 5th November 2020 and SpiceJet will deploy a mix of its Boeing 737 and Bombardier Q400 aircraft on all these routes.
The Introductory fare of SpiceJet’s flights for Bangladesh will be as follow;
- Kolkata-Chittagong route is ₹4,255
- Chittagong-Kolkata route ₹4,939
- Kolkata-Dhaka ₹4,638
- Dhaka-Kolkata ₹5,478
- Delhi-Dhaka route ₹7,749
- Dhaka-Delhi ₹10,135
- Chennai-Dhaka ₹5,128
- and Dhaka-Chennai ₹7,308.
