Singapore Airlines, the flag carrier airline of Singapore is celebrating the reopening of Indian skies for scheduled international flights by offering discounted fares starting at just ₹17,900 for international travel from India to key destinations across the world including Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the United States.
Singapore Airlines is offering a discount of up to 15% on flight tickets from India. with this all-inclusive round trip tickets to Southeast Asian destinations start at ₹17,900, tickets to Australia start at ₹38,700, and tickets to the United States start at ₹51,400.
Travellers willing to fly from India to Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the United States, any other destinations on the SIA network, will be able to take advantage of these special fares if they booked their tickets between now and 23rd April 2022 for the travel till 30 September 2022.

Complimentary Rebooking
Apart from the discounted fare, the airline is also offering complimentary rebooking for all tickets issued up to 31 May 2022. If you have a ticket issued on or before 31 May 2022, you can now rebook your flight without a fee and may transfer your purchased additional baggage or seats, if any, to the new flights. Purchased add-on deals i.e., seats with additional baggage, will be refunded.
With complimentary rebooking, you can:
- make unlimited changes to your booking on or before 31 May 2022; and
- make one additional change after 31 May 2022.
All booking change fees will be waived if your ticket is eligible for complimentary rebooking. All you have to do is pay the fare difference if any.
A statement released by the Airlines read:
“To cater to the increased demand from India, SIA has not only resumed its A380 operations from Mumbai this month but will also launch the new A380 product from Delhi in April 2022. Furthermore, Indian travellers transiting through Singapore Changi Airport will have the chance to rediscover the magic of the world’s favourite and most-awarded international airport, including the iconic Jewel at Changi.”
Sy Yen Chen, General Manager (India) for Singapore Airlines, said:
“The resumption of scheduled commercial international passenger services from India is a very big development for us as it opens up our entire global network to Indian travellers after a two-year hiatus. Notably, Singapore Airlines now runs 65 flights weekly from eight Indian destinations and will gradually increase its frequency to pre-COVID-19 levels in the coming months.
