Saudia Prepare To Resume All International Flights From March 31

Saudia, the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia has announced its full readiness to implement the govt. the decision to resume international flights for citizens effective from March 31 this year.

As per a statement of the Interior Ministry on January 08, starting from March 31. 2021 citizens to be allowed to travel abroad, return to Saudi Arabia.

The decision will come into force on March 31, 2021, includes the following measures:

  • Allowing citizens to travel abroad and return to the Kingdom.
  • Fully lifting of the ban on all international flights.
  • Opening all land, sea, and air outlets, in full.

Eng. Abdullah Al-Shahrani, director of corporate communication affairs at Saudi Airlines Company, said this while calling on the citizens to continuously follow the company’s website and social media accounts in this regard.

Attending Ya Hala program of Rotana Khaleejia channel, Al-Shahrani said that the national carrier is prepared to resume flights in terms of operational, technical, and administrative matters, and there’s direct coordination with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and the relevant official authorities.

Al-Shahrani called on citizens to follow the official website of the airline as well as its accounts on social networking sites, as they periodically update the list of countries allowed to travel to. He noted that air travel is still closed to some countries.
