SalamAir Announces Flights Between Muscat, Salalah And Four Indian Cities

SalamAir, the first low-cost carrier from Oman has announced that it will be operating daily scheduled flights from Oman’s Muscat and Salalah and four destinations in India from the first week of April.

As per the details shared by the airline, it will connect Muscat with Lucknow, Jaipur, and Trivandrum, while the flights from Salalah will connect Kozhikode in India.

SalamAir Flight Flights Between Oman And India

The Lucknow flight will operate every day, whereas the Jaipur service will not operate on Sundays. Trivandrum will not operate on Monday. Salalah-Kozhikode flights will be available on Friday and Sunday.

  • Muscat-Jaipur-Muscat | 6 Weekly Flight, Except Sunday
  • Muscat-Trivandrum-Muscat | 6 Weekly Flight, Except Monday
  • Salalah-Kozhikode-Salalah | 2 Weekly Flights, Friday and Sunday

SalamAir recently opted to expand its codeshare arrangement with Oman Air on specified routes to allow smooth passenger flow to the Sultanate.

Capt. Mohamed Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of SalamAir, said;

“We have been working closely with Oman Air to see this project come into fruition. Our business model continues to be focused on expanding our network while allowing our passengers to enjoy reliability, convenience, and a vast choice in travel while maintaining low fares.”

Oman Air, Go First Also Resumed Flights To/From India

Apart from SalamAir, Indian low-cost carrier Go First and Oman Air, the flagship carrier of Oman has also resumed the scheduled operation between India and Oman effective from 27th March 2022.

Oman Air has resumed its flights between Muscat and eight Indian cities – including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Kozhikode.

While Go First has started operating between Muscat and two Indian cities namely Mumbai and Kannur. The airline has scheduled to operate four weekly flights from Mumbai on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, as well as three flights from Kannur on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
