As it gets ready to host the FIFA World Cup 2022 in November this year, Qatar has finally scrapped the red list for international travellers and also removed all its quarantine requirements for foreign arrivals.
As per the latest guidelines, quarantine is no longer required for all international visitors; however, travellers who test positive for COVID-19 after arriving in Qatar must undergo quarantine measures in accordance with the procedures followed by the State of Qatar.
International travellers arriving in the State of Qatar must require to bring a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test certificate with a negative result that is valid for 48 hours or a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) certificate that is valid for 24 hours from the scheduled flight to the State of Qatar.
It is important to note that only PCR or RAT tests are valid for entry into Qatar, and the Rapid antigen self-test is not valid for travel purposes.
