If you’re planning to depart from Delhi Airport T3, please be aware that the most popular lounge at Terminal 3 has been temporarily closed without prior notice.

As per a report published by Live from a Lounge, the Plaza Premium Lounge has the most widespread access, including for Credit Cards and Vistara customers, but was close unexpectedly on November 12, 2022.

The move also forced Vistara, to suspend its lounge service at Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport. Commenting on the same, the airline in a social media post said,

“In adherence to the recent mandate from the authorities, Plaza Premium lounge services at Delhi Terminal 3 have been suspended. Lounge services will be unavailable at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal 3. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”

Vistara has made alternative arrangements for eligible passengers flying in Business Class or Vistara Gold/Platinum customers while the lounge is closed. The airline is sending eligible travellers to the Dilli Streat eatery on the ground floor of Delhi T3 Domestic.

There is no information available regarding the planned reopening of the Plaza Premium Lounge. However, it is speculated that the Plaza Premium Lounge is temporarily shut down so that work can be finished on the Encalm lounge next door, which is scheduled to open this month.
