Oman Air To Operate 38 Flights Between India And Muscat In February: Schedule Here

Oman Air, the national airline of Oman has announced its schedule for February 2021 and said that it will operate a total of 38 flights between India and Oman under the air bubble arrangement.

As per the schedule published by the airline it will connect Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kochi, Delhi, Bengaluru and Trivandrum to Muscat, Oman.

Oman Air will operate three weekly flights from Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kochi, Delhi, and Bengaluru while from Chennai and Trivandrum it operates two weekly flights.

Who Can Travel Between India and Oman?

As per the air bubble agreement, airlines from both countries can operate international flights between each other with certain restrictions and regulations.

The designated carriers of both the countries are now permitted to operate services between India and Oman with the following conditions: Both Indian and Omani airlines operating inbound flights into India can carry the following passengers:

From India to Oman

• Nationals/residents of Oman;
• Any Indian national holding a valid residency permit of Oman and destined for Oman only. It would be for the airlines concerned to ensure the Indian nationals are eligible to enter Oman before the issue of ticket/ boarding pass to the Indian passenger.

From Oman to India:

• Indian nationals stranded in Oman;
• All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders holding passports of Oman;
• Nationals of Oman (including diplomats) holding valid visas issued by an Indian Mission in any category covered under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated 30.06.2020 as amended from time to time.

It must be noted that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, India on Thursday (28 Jan) extends the suspension of regular international flights to and from India till 11.59 pm on February 28, 2021.
