Malaysia Airlines will resume flights internationally in July to offer essential travel, allowing families who have not been able to reunite due to travel restrictions across the globe.
In a press release seen by Simple Flying, passengers must “check entry and exit requirements before their journeys with travel restrictions remaining in place in most countries.”
With the release of schedules for the next two months, Malaysia Airlines explains that these are impermanent. The flag carrier plans to continue adjusting it according to travel demands and reach a fixed outcome by October.
The airline said the airline will adjust its network capacity from time to time to ensure that passenger demands are met, before normalizing the schedule in October for domestic and international destinations.
According to an official statement, CEO Captain Izham Ismail announced,
“We are pleased to announce the resumption of our services by increasing capacity to domestic and international routes, and we look forward to welcoming our passengers back on board.”
“The resumption of services will allow families who have not been able to return to their loved ones due to travel restrictions in many parts of the world to reunite. Passengers are however, reminded to check entry and exit requirements before their journeys with travel restrictions remaining in place in most countries”, said the airline in a blog release.
