Malaysia Airline Offering ‘Bonus Side Trip’ When Flying With A layover In Kuala Lumpur

Malaysia Airlines, the flag carrier airline of Malaysia has come up with an exciting offer for its international travellers with a layover in Kuala Lumpur;

Malaysia Airlines has introduced the Bonus Side Trip* campaign, which allows passengers to add an extra leg to their journey from Asia and Australasia to discover Malaysia’s cultural gems at a moderate cost.

The ‘Bonus Side Trip’ offer allows travellers to include a stop in one of seven Malaysian cities, with the airline paying up the return domestic air price from Kuala Lumpur. However, passengers must pay any applicable taxes, fees, and charges.

  • Sales Period: Now until 31 December 2022
  • Travel Period: Now until 31 March 2023

To qualify for the Bonus Side Trip, passengers must book a Malaysia Airlines long-haul flight from India to one of the following destinations:

STEP 1: Enter your city of origin, destination city and departure dates. ​

STEP 2: The Bonus Side Trip tab will appear. Click on Bonus Side Trip.

STEP 3: Select your desired flights to any Peninsular Malaysia destination based on search results. The Bonus Side Trip is a valid en route from one international destination to another international destination or on the way back.

STEP 4: Confirm the flight selection before proceeding. Click the “Continue” button to enter passenger details and payment. At this stage, passengers will be able to add on any ancillary offers. Kindly note that local government and airport taxes are payable for the Bonus Side Trip.​​
