LOT Polish Airline is considering adding a direct flight connection between Warsaw and Bengaluru in the post-Covid world.

This happened after the announcement of a new international flight route from Bengaluru to San Francisco from summer 2021 last week.

The move would help boost economic activity and trade for both countries.

As a Polish airline, LOT is continuously examining ways to connect people with each other in terms of route development, and India is considered a strategic market for LOT Polish Airlines after successfully launching flights between the Polish and Indian capitals in 2019. We are certainly considering connecting to other metropolitan areas to offer non-stop services, and that includes Bengaluru,” as per a report by Bangalore Mirror.

In 2019, the airline started its first direct flight to India and operated the Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliner between Warsaw and New Delhi five times a week.

The Bengaluru-Warsaw route is seen as profitable, which would boost business and investment between the two countries.

When the flight to Warsaw takes off, Bengaluru would be connected to five European cities: Paris, Frankfurt, London and Amsterdam.
