Effective from April 24, 2021 until further notice, Passengers [from the below allowed category], will not be permitted to enter the State of Kuwait, if the passenger has tr​aveled to and/or visited the Republic of India within fourteen (14) days prior to the entry into the State of Kuwait.

This restriction does not apply for Kuwaiti nationals, their foreign first degree relatives (husband/wife/children) and their accompanied domestic worker.

Eligible Travelers To Kuwait
  • Nationals of Kuwait;
  • Children, husbands and wives of nationals of Kuwait;
  • Domestic workers of nationals of Kuwait. They must register online before departure at https://belsalamah.com/home.html
  • All Medical Professionals in State of Kuwait and their First-degree relatives with valid residence.
Eligible Travelers To India
  • Indian Nationals and OCI/POI Cardholders
  • All Foreign Nationals on work permit and Business visitors

Protocols For Travelling To Kuwait

  • Passengers arriving from India must conduct the test from one of the MUNA accredited laboratories​.
  • Passengers should install “”Shlonik”” and “Kuwait-Mosafer” applications on their personal device.
  • Negative RT-PCR test report issued by an approved laboratory listed on https://kuwaitmosafer.gov.kw/home.html within 72 hours prior arrival in original with seal/sign. 2 PCR tests at their own expense upon arrival, payment confirmation to be obtained and registration to be done before departure on above website.
  • Confirmed hotel reservation to be booked for 7 days (form) exceptions on https://kuwaitairways.com/en

Protocols For Travelling To India

  • Mandatory registration on MOSAFER APP
  • RT-PCR Test mandatory 72 hr prior to departure
  • Submit self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal and upload a negative COVID-19 RTPCR report.
  • Exemption form required only in case of exigency due to the death in the family, to be applied online at least 72 hours prior boarding
  • At Maharashtra Mandatory 7days IQ followed by 7days HQ
  • Registration Mandatory for OCI card Holder with Indian embassy.

Quarantine Duration

  • Kuwait- Quarantine at a hotel or home-quarantine for up to 14 days.
  • India – 14 Days HQ “Mandatory RT-PCR negative certificate”
