According to sources in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Jet Airways 2.0, under its new promoters, is expected to operate proving flights by the end of May.

It is worth mentioning that, operating proving flights or test flights is an important step for Jet Airways in order to revalidate its air operator certificate (AOC) and start commercial flight operations.

While operating proving flights, airline personnel must operate in the same manner as when conducting commercial operations to prove preparedness and safety standards.

Not just that, this also includes check-in-counter staff, engineers, pilots, and cabin crew performing their duties.

According to the officials, the Jet Airways team is working with the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), and the DGCA to get all the necessary approvals.
