IRCTC To Serve Ready-To-Eat Meals To Indian Railway Passengers Soon

Indian Railways’ tourism and catering wing, IRCTC is planning to serve ready-to-eat meals to increase its revenue.

For this, IRCTC has partnered with companies like Haldiram, ITC, MTR, Wagh Bakri, and other big food brands.

If the plan goes successful, the passengers will enjoy ready-to-eat meals of Haldiram, ITC, MTR, Wagh Bakri, and other big food brands.

According to sources, Railway Minister want to implement this scheme as soon as possible.

The government has implemented the model in the airline industry, which gone successful. So now, the govt looks to implement the same in the railway industry.

Once implemented, the trains with the pantry system will terminate the contract and hand over responsibility to the IRCTC for serving ready-to-eat meals to passengers.
