IndiGo to Recommence Flights Between Kolkata and Dhaka Starting Dec 08

In order to expand its international network and meet rising demand, IndiGo the leading Indian low-cost carrier has announced to recommence direct flights between Kolkata and Dhaka, Bangladesh effective December 08, 2022.

As per the details available on IndiGo’s official website, it will operate three weekly services on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

As per the new schedule, the IndiGo flight from Hyderabad will take off at 13:550and arrive in Dhaka at 16:45. The Dhaka-Hyderabad flight will take off at 17:45 and land at 19:55, respectively.

Commenting on the additional frequency for Dhaka, Vinay Malhotra, Global Sales Head at IndiGo, said.

“In line with our aim to reconnect India with international markets post-Covid, we are pleased to resume direct flights between Hyderabad & Dhaka. This will not only create direct connectivity between these cities but also support the medical tourists travelling from Bangladesh to India.”

In addition, IndiGo also commences direct flights from Mumbai to Gwalior on November 15, 2022. This new route is being introduced in response to increasing demand and to improve accessibility.
