IndiGo Expands Abu Dhabi to India Flights with New Daily Routes

Abu Dhabi Airports has announced a significant expansion in travel options to India, thanks to IndiGo, India’s leading budget airline. Starting this week, passengers can now enjoy daily flights from Zayed International Airport to Chandigarh, as well as new daily services to Kannur and the resumption of flights to Lucknow.

New Flights to Abu Dhabi

The Indian budget airline has significantly expanded its service from Abu Dhabi International Airport, adding 21 new weekly flights, representing a 50% increase in their offerings. This expansion includes exciting new daily routes:

1. Abu Dhabi to Chandigarh

This new route connects the capital of the United Arab Emirates with the vibrant city of Chandigarh in northern India, known for its Rock Garden and rich cultural heritage.

2. Abu Dhabi to Kannur

Travellers can now enjoy daily flights to Kannur, a beautiful coastal city in Kerala, famous for its beaches, backwaters, and Ayurvedic treatments.

3. Resumption of Daily Flights to Lucknow

The re-introduction of daily flights to Lucknow provides a direct connection between Abu Dhabi and the capital of Uttar Pradesh, a centre for historical sites and cultural experiences.

Enhanced Connectivity

With these additions, IndiGo now offers a total of 63 weekly flights to Abu Dhabi from nine different cities across India. This expanded network caters to both business and leisure travellers, offering greater flexibility and ease of travel.

The launch of these new flights expands the destinations served from Zayed International Airport to over 120, enhancing connectivity for both business and leisure travellers.
