IndiGo, the largest airline in India on Wednesday announced Bahrain as its 25th international destination in the 6E network. The airline will launch new direct flights between Mumbai and Bahrain on August 1, 2022.
IndiGo will now be connected to all six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations due to this latest addition to the 6E network.
According to the airline, 6E 1403 will depart from Mumbai (BOM) at 22:15 hrs. and arrive in Bahrain (BAH) at 23:35; the same aircraft will return from Bahrain at 01:00 and arrive in Mumbai at 07:20.

Mr Sanjay Kumar, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer, IndiGo said;

The direct connection to Bahrain will increase tourist movement to destinations such as the Royal Camel Farm, the Pearl Island, the Twin Towers of Bahrain Trade Centre, Dive Bahrain, Isa Town, Manama’s capital city, Zalaq, the UNESCO world heritage site of Qal’at Al Bahrain, Sitra, Muharraq, and the wildlife reserve at Al Areen.
