Indian embassy in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday said announce that the all restrictions on the passport renewal applications are lifted and renewal applications will accepted at BLS International Centres in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain from July 15.
“All applicants are requested to maintain appropriate social distancing norms in accordance with local rules and regulations and wear face masks and gloves while visiting BLS centres,” the embassy tweeted on Wednesday.

However, the advisory of Indian embassy dated June 17 said that conveying relaxation by exempting the physical presence of senior citizen (above 60 years), minor children (below 12 years), pregnant women and differently abled applicants at the time of the submission of passport application may continue till further improvement in the situation.
Indian passport services at all centres were suspended in March as a precautionary measure against the spread of Covid-19.
