Indian Embassy Issues New Advisory Ask Indians To Leave Kyiv Urgently Today

The Indian High Commission in Kyiv, Ukraine on Tuesday issued a fresh advisory for its citizens and advise them to leave Kyiv at the earliest. The Indian Embassy in its advisory said “All Indian nationals including students are advised to leave Kyiv urgently today. Preferably by available trains or through any other means available.”

Earlier today, seventh flight carrying 182 Indian nationals evacuated from Ukraine has been landed in Mumbai.

The advisory comes after, new satellite images show that a Russian military convoy – almost 64 kilometers long – was steadily moving towards the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv from the north. This is more than double the length of the convoy — 17 miles or 37 km

New Travel Advisory For Indians Stranded In Ukraine

The Health Ministry of India on Monday issues a revised advisory for Indian nationals who are stuck in Ukraine amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict and waiting for being evacuated.

India has announced various exemptions for its citizens, the revised advisory stated;

• Indian national from Ukraine are exempted from mandatory pre-departure negative RT-PCR tests and vaccination certificates.
• Moreover, they have also been exempted from filing self-declaration forms and uploading documents before departure on Air-Suvidha Portal.

The Health Ministry also informed that as of 28th Feb 2022 (till 12:00 Hrs.), a total of 5 flights (one in Mumbai and four in Delhi) carrying Indians from Ukraine have arrived in India carrying a total of 1156 passengers with none of the passengers kept under isolation so far.
