Flights to UAE from many Indian destinations may resume from next week as Indian airlines like Vistara, IndiGo, and SpiceJet have now started taking bookings from India to UAE from 15th July onwards.

Also, some of the largest international airports in India such as Mumbai and Hyderabad are already preparing to handle passengers between India and UAE by setting up rapid PCR and lab tests.

It may be noted that the major reason behind the delay in the opening of flights from India to the UAE is the lack of adequate PCR-testing facilities at Indian airports.

Vistara

As per our finding, leading full-service carrier Vistara has started accepting bookings for UAE from 15th July, the airline has one direct flight departing from Delhi at 9 pm (local time) and reaching Dubai at 11.20 pm (local time).

Flight Schedule From Delhi to Dubai

It must be noted that Emirates, the flagship carrier of UAE has suspended all passenger flights from India until 15 July 2021.

The airline in response to a customer’s query said, “Our flights from India are suspended until 15th July. We have flights available from 16th July onwards. But this could change. Keep an eye on our website, we’ll post there any changes and operational news.

In response to another query, the airline has said, “We’ll start the flights from India on the 16th of July. But, that can change at any time. We’d suggest keeping an eye on our travel updates.”

However, the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of UAE has issued a NOTAM (Notice Issued to Airmen) and said that the flights from India and 13 other countries will remain suspended until 23:59 hrs. of July 21, 2021.
