India-Qatar Air Bubble Arrangement Extended Till Sep 30

The Indian Embassy in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday informed that the Air Bubble arrangement between India and Qatar has been extended for September 2021.

In a tweet, the embassy also thanked the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of India and Civil Aviation Authority of Qatar for ensuring that direct air connectivity for passengers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Air Bubble arrangement between India and Qatar has been extended for the month of September 2021.

Thank civil aviation authorities @DGCAIndia and @CAAQATAR for ensuring that direct air connectivity for passengers during the Covid pandemic.”

It is important to note that India had stopped international flights after the spread of Covid-19 and operates only repatriation flights or flights under Air Bubble arrangements to different countries.

In the meantime, the Indian government has also extended the ban on regular international flights till 30 September, the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said in a circular recently.

Dedicated cargo flights, flights under the bilateral air bubble pacts with select countries will continue to operate, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation said in the circular.
