Himachal Lifts Travel Restrictions: e-Pass, Registration, COVID Negative Report Not Required

Himachal Pradesh government has lifted all travel restrictions, including the mandatory e-pass, registration, and Covid negative report, to enter into the state.

It is, indeed, a major relief to the tourism industry of the state.

The restrictions was imposed due to coronavirus pandemic and people entering the state needed a pass or online registration.

However, the interstate bus services will remain suspended till further notice, the state government informed on Tuesday, September 15.

How is the Covid situation in Himachal Pradesh?

Not so good maybe. In the last 24 hours, 419 fresh infections and eight deaths have been reported in the state.

the total number of infected patients in Himachal Pradesh is now 10,336, while the death tally has reached 89.

However, the total number of recoveries in the state has improved to 6,417, the official informed, adding that 27 patients are from outside.

3,801 – is the number of active cases in the state as of now, as per the state’s latest report.
