The airline in a trade circular said;

Throughout the Covid era we have had the ‘no fees, unlimited changes’ policy designed to give consumers/agents confidence to book and adjust their plans in response to the ever-changing travel environment and restrictions.

However, effective 01 Jun 2022, the ‘No Fees, Unlimited changes’ policy will be discontinued and normal fare rule/conditions will apply as per fare bands.

It is worth mentioning that any tickets issued prior to June 22, regardless of travel date, will remain eligible for the no-fee policy.

The ‘No Fees, Unlimited Changes’ policy enables Gulf Air passengers to change bookings, exchange tickets, and refund them until May 31, 2022.

Initially started in March 2020, the campaign was one of the first worldwide airline initiatives to give Gulf Air passengers peace of mind in regard to the COVID-19 crisis and its global impact on air travel.
