Flydubai Issues Update For Passengers Travelling To/From Saudi Arabia During Umrah Season

Flydubai, a government-owned low-cost airline in Dubai, United Arab Emirates has issued an update regarding the travel requirements for passengers travelling to/from Saudi Arabia during the Umrah season.

Passengers can travel to/from Jeddah on Umrah flights (FZ 7000 to 7999) to/from Dubai International (DXB), if:

  • they’re holding a valid Umrah visa; or
  • they’re a citizen of one of the GCC countries (excluding citizens of Saudi Arabia).

You can travel to/from Jeddah on Umrah flights* to/from Dubai World Central (DWC), if:

  • you’re holding a valid Umrah visa; or
  • you’re a citizen of one of the GCC countries (excluding citizens of Saudi Arabia).

*Flight numbers 5163/5164, 5301/5302, 5367/5368, 5391/5392, 5397/5398, 5427/5428, 5439/5440, 5461/5462, 5485/5486, 5523/5524, 5573/5574, 5603/5604, 5669/5670, 5703/5704, 5879/5880, 5945/5946.

Travel to/from Jeddah on regular flights: Passengers can travel to/from Jeddah on regular flights on Umrah, business, visit or resident visas.

All the above-mentioned flights will arrive at and depart from the North Terminal at Jeddah Airport.

Travel to/from Madinah on regular flights: Passengers can travel to/from Madinah on Umrah, business, visit or resident visas.

Travel to/from Yanbu on regular flights: Passengers can travel to/from Yanbu on Umrah, business, visit or resident visas.

The airline also said that each passenger is permitted to carry 5 litres of Islamic Holy Water (Zam-Zam water) at no additional cost on their return flight from Jeddah.

Flydubai also informed passengers that it is their responsibility to obtain the necessary visas in order to fly on these flights. If any passenger arrives at the airport without the necessary documentation, they will be unable to travel and will not be refunded.
