In a response to a social media comment, Indian flag-carrier Air India on Wednesday said that all scheduled passenger flights from India to UAE will remain suspended until July 6, 2021.
“In view of travel restrictions announced by the UAE government, flights between India and UAE are suspended till 06th Jul’21. Please keep a watch on our Twitter handle and website for further updates,” said Air India in reply to the customer’s tweet.

It is worth mentioning that UAE has eases the travel restrictions and allowed holders of UAE residency visas who are stuck outside the country to return from certain nations if they have received two doses of a UAE-approved vaccine.
After the announcement comes, Emirates the flag carrier of UAE said that it will be resuming the flights between India and UAE from 23rd June.
But, recently a customer care representative for Dubai’s Emirates airline said the carrier was initially planning for a June 23 launch and was currently liaising with government authorities.
Also, a flydubai customer care representative said the next booking available from India’s capital New Delhi to Dubai was only on July 7.
However, Indian airline like Air India, Air India Express and IndiGo has not yet announced the date of resumption of flights between India and UAE.
