Emirates Updates Student Baggage Policy For Travel Ex-India

Emirates, one of two flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates has recently updated its student baggage policy for travellers from India and imposed an age limit on student baggage.

According to the updated rules tickets issued on August 23, 2022, the maximum age limit has been reduced to 30 years, which means customers who have already reached the age of 31 are ineligible for the student offer.

However, standard baggage allowance continues to apply for travel from India to the United States and Canada.

According to Emirates, the new Student Baggage Policy supersedes all previous circulars.

Emirates Special Fares For Students

Emirates is currently running a special student promotional offer in which students can save up to 10% on Economy Class and Business Class fares. Not only that, but students can get an extra 10kg or 1 piece of luggage on top of its generous baggage allowances and flexible flight change options.

However, for travel to/from Toronto, Canada and USA, the standard baggage allowances apply.

The offer is valid on all 250 destinations in Emirate’s network, and students must book their flights by 30 September 2022 using the promo code STUDENT to receive discounts of up to 10%.
