Drukair Resumed Flights Connecting Bagdogra With Paro And Bangkok

Drukair, the flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bhutan has resumed scheduled international flight services between connecting Bagdogra in West Bengal with Paro and Bangkok. The airline had halted its operations on the said route due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to Drukair Senior Executive (Reservation) Nilanjana Sen, the scheduled flights on the Paro-Bagdogra-Bangkok route resumed on Monday.

With the return of the Drukair aircraft, the Bagdogra airport has resumed handling international flights, per an Airports Authority of India (AAI) spokesman.

According to the details shared by Bagdogra Airport Director P Subramani, flights between Paro and Bangkok with a layover at Bagdogra will operate twice a week. On Mondays, Drukair will fly from Paro, Bhutan, to Bangkok via Bagdogra, with a return journey from Bangkok on Tuesdays.

Similarly, every Tuesday, the flight from Paro will arrive in Bagdogra at 11.50 a.m. and depart for Bangkok at 12.40 p.m., while the return flight from Bangkok will arrive in Bagdogra at 8.40 a.m. and depart for Paro at 9.30 a.m.
