China: Visa-Free Entry Now Available for Citizens of 9 Countries!

China to welcome travellers from nine countries with a new visa-free entry policy, making it easier to explore the “Land of the Red Dragon.” This initiative aims to boost cross-border travel during the holiday season and beyond, offering simplified access for select nationalities.

The announcement was made by Lin Jian (林剑), Deputy Director General at the Department of Press, Communication, and Public Diplomacy of China’s Foreign Ministry, on 1 November 2024.

According to Lin, the visa-free policy will be implemented from 8 November 2024 and will continue until 31 December 2025, allowing visitors from nine countries to travel to China without a visa.
