Azerbaijan Airlines Announced Non-Stop Flights Between Mumbai and Baku Starting Nov 12

Azerbaijan Airlines, the flag carrier of Azerbaijan has a plan to operate non-stop flights between Baku and Mumbai – the commercial hub of India starting November onwards.

As per the details shared by the airline, it will fly twice a week between Mumbai and Baku and the airline has already started selling flight tickets for the said route. This development has been confirmed by Zeal Global Group, the airline’s exclusive partner in India.

Azerbaijan Airlines Mumbai Baku Flights Schedule

According to the schedule on AZAL’s official website, J2-5003 departs from Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) at 18:50 and arrives at Mumbai International Airport (BOM) at 01:00. The next day, the same flight will return from Mumbai to Baku.

Flight tickets for these flights can be purchased through the airline’s official website as well as through accredited agencies. The ticket price includes a free baggage allowance (up to 23 kg in economy class and 32 kg in business class) and a full menu of cold and hot meals.

Passengers who meet the specified conditions of carriage and are permitted to fly under the current Covid-19 travel restrictions will be accepted on these flights.

Flights Between Baku and Delhi

Since August, the airline has operated twice-weekly flights from Delhi to Baku, and it is now launching direct flights from Mumbai as well. Visitors from Mumbai can now travel to Baku in just four hours to experience Azerbaijan’s scenic beauty.
