All Visa Holders Can Now Enter In Oman, Says Aviation Authority

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Oman has announced that all types of visa holders will be now allowed to enter the Sultanate.

The aviation authority in a statement said that after coordination with the concerned authorities, all visa holders will be allowed to enter the Sultanate.

On April 7, 2021, the aviation authority has issued a circular and restrict the entry into the Sultanate to Omani citizens and holders of residency visas issued until April 5 2021 only.

Oman Issues Travel Advisory

Oman Embassy in New Delhi on Saturday has issued an advisory for Omani citizens and ask them not to travel to India unless necessary. The move comes on the heels of the steady increase in COVID-19 infections in India.

The Embassy of Oman in New Delhi, India said Omani citizens are advised to avoid traveling to India in the current period unless absolutely necessary, due to the steady increase in the number of COVID-19 infections, which exceeded 200,000 cases per day, prompting local authorities to take several precautionary measures, including restricting movement and prohibiting some activities.
