As the government of India extends the lockdown all the schedule domestic, international flights, and metro rail service will remain suspended till 31st May.
The Ministry of Home Affairs announce this in the guidelines for lockdown 4.0
“All domestic and international air travel of passengers, except for domestic medical services, domestic air ambulance and for security purposes or purposes as permitted by MHA.” Ministry of Home said in the new guidelines.
MHA also mentioned that all metro rail services will also remain suspended till May 31.
Indian railway has already cancelled all passenger trains till June 30 only Shramik and special trains will continue to operate.
The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued a circular to all the airlines and airports in India and says…
“In view of the decision taken by the Government to continue the lockdown up to 31st May 2020, as contained in MHA’s order No. 40-3/2020-DM-I(A) date 17.05.2020, the validity of the MoCA Order No. AV.11011/1/2020-US(AG)Office-MOCA dated 23rd March 2020, prohibiting domestic passenger flight operations, has been further extended up to 2359 hrs 1ST on 31st May 2020.”
“It has also been decided to further extend the validity of the CIRCULAR dated 14.04.2020 issued on the subject cited-above regarding Scheduled International commercial passenger services till 2359 hrs 1ST of 3151 May, 2020. This restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by DGCA.”
“However, it is once again reiterated that foreign and domestic airlines shall be suitably informed about the opening of their operations whether international to/from India or domestic respectively in due course.”
