Akasa Air, India’s newest airline, has officially commenced operations from Kolkata, its 17th destination and the second in the state of West Bengal. This milestone marks the airline’s successful expansion to all metro cities in the country.
The inaugural flight, QP 1377, departed from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata at 17:55hrs, heading to Guwahati. Starting May 18, 2023, Akasa Air will operate daily non-stop flights connecting Kolkata with Bengaluru and Guwahati.
Additionally, these new routes will provide travellers with the convenient option of seamless travel from Bengaluru to Guwahati via Kolkata, eliminating the need for aircraft changes.
Akasa Air Kolkata Flight Schedule
Akasa Air has announced its flight schedule for its newly launched operations from Kolkata. The schedule includes daily non-stop flights connecting Kolkata with Bengaluru and Guwahati. The first flight, QP 1377, departs from Bengaluru at 14:30 and arrives in Kolkata at 17:15.
The return leg, QP 1377, takes off from Kolkata at 17:55 and reaches Guwahati at 19:05. Another flight, QP 1541, departs from Guwahati at 19:45 and lands in Kolkata at 21:10.
Finally, QP 1541 departs from Kolkata at 21:50 and arrives in Bengaluru at 00:15 the next day. These daily non-stop flights aim to provide convenient and seamless travel options for passengers between these cities.
