With the addition of Guwahati as its seventh destination and Agartala as its eighth destination, Akasa Air, India’s newest airline, announced its entry into the country’s eastern cities.
These new flights will offer seamless one-stop connectivity between Bengaluru and Agartala with Akasa Air’s first Through Flight product offering, eliminating the need for an aircraft change at Guwahati.
The airline has also announced additional daily flights on the Bengaluru-Chennai route beginning also on October 21, 2022, in order to further improve connectivity in existing sectors.
From October 21, 2022, Akasa Air will begin operating along a total of eleven non-stop routes across eight cities:
- Ahmedabad
- Bengaluru
- Kochi
- Chennai
- Mumbai
- Delhi
- Guwahati
- Agartala
By the end of its summer schedule, the airline anticipates operating 300 flights per week.
