Air Tanzania Resumes Two Weekly Flights Between Mumbai and Dar Es Salaam

Air Tanzania, the flag carrier airline of Tanzania based in Dar es Salaam has resumed two weekly flights between Mumbai and Dar Es Salaam starting 30 Aug 2021 under the air bubble arrangements.

The airline has deployed its brand new Dreamliner B787-800 aircraft with flatbeds in Business Class.

As per the schedule shared by the airline, it will be operating flights on DAR-BOM every Monday & Friday while on BOM-DAR sector flights are scheduled to operate every Tuesday & Saturday.

Moreover, the airline will connect beyond Dar-Es-Salaam to 04 international sectors in East Africa and 12 domestic sectors in Tanzania

Travel Guidelines

All Departing passengers from India are required to follow a travel advisory given by the Ministry of Health Government of Tanzania in connection to the Rapid Covid-19 test on arrival at their own cost at Dar Es Salam. The rapid test cost is approximately USD 25.00.

All departing and arriving passengers should have covid-19 negative certificate 72 hours prior to departure and arrival in India in addition to Yellow fever Vaccination.

If the passenger is planning to travel from MUMBAI to DAR ES SALAAM they need to register themselves 24 hours prior to scheduled departure, they will receive a unique id Number which they need to show at the check-in counter in Mumbai Airport.

They will also receive a mail for Unique ID, take the screenshot of the unique id number once done with the form filling process. Ministry of Health – Traveller’s Health Portal (moh.go.tz)

• For all passengers ticketed for travel from Africa to India, it is mandatory to fill up data in the attached. Undertakings and Manifest. Please ensure this is sent to below email address as soon as passenger is ticketed, passenger should have covid19 negative certificate on arrival also.
